Who is Dr. Charles Celano?
Dr. Charles Celano specializes in spinal correction, rehabilitation, and optimizing human movement. With a strong foundation in sports, exercise rehabilitation, and athletic performance, Dr. Celano tailors his care to meet each patient’s unique needs. His approach integrates a variety of techniques, including diversified adjustments, flexion distraction, fascial manipulation, Active Release Technique (ART), and more, ensuring comprehensive and effective care.
Active Release Technique (ART) is a hands-on therapy designed to identify and treat soft tissue injuries, such as muscle, tendon, ligament, fascia, and nerve conditions. Dr. Celano uses ART to break up adhesions, improve mobility, and reduce pain by combining targeted pressure with specific patient movements. This technique is particularly effective for treating sports injuries, repetitive strain issues, and chronic pain, allowing patients to restore function and perform at their best.
Born and raised on Long Island, Dr. Celano earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland. He furthered his education in Dallas, Texas, at the esteemed Parker University, where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During his training, he gained valuable experience through a clinic-based internship in Nashville, Tennessee.
Now back on Long Island, Dr. Celano is thrilled to serve the community he calls home, helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals with personalized, expert care.
